Originally from rural Alberta, Dr. Kassam pursued his dental education at the University of Toronto, graduating with Honour Standing in 1997. He furthered his training with a General Dental Practice Residency in Hartford, Connecticut, affiliated with Mount Sinai and Saint Francis Hospitals. In 1998, he moved to Vancouver, where he has been passionately serving the community ever since.
Dr. Kassam is a past clinical instructor at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry and the UBC Smile Design Program. Currently, he serves as an instructor at the Vancouver Dental Education Centre (VDEC), sharing his expertise with fellow dental professionals.
Dr. Kassam has a special clinical interest in dental surgery, with a focus on dental implants, extractions, and periodontal (gum) surgery. He is dedicated to providing personalized care that helps patients achieve optimal oral health, ensuring a positive experience every step of the way.
