Dr. Kassam, or Dr. Ally as most of his patients refer to him, grew up in rural Alberta before moving to Toronto to pursue his dental career. Dr. Kassam graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry with Honour Standing in 1997. He spent an additional year pursuing a General Dental Practice Residency in Hartford Connecticut, where he was affiliated with the prestigious Mount Sinai and Saint Francis Hospitals. Following this, Dr. Kassam moved to Vancouver in 1998 and has since been dedicated to helping people through his passion for dentistry.
Dr. Kassam is a Lead Instructor at the University of British Columbia Smile Design Program where he teaches other dentists clinical skills in advanced Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition, he is a past clinical instructor at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry where he taught third and fourth year students clinical skills. Dr. Kassam is an Elite member of the Vancouver Dental Education Centre.
Dr. Kassam enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a focus on cosmetics, full mouth makeovers, dental implants, Invisalign clear retainers, and TMJ management. He is a perpetual student and highly values continuing education and increasing his knowledge and skills.
