Dentures Near You

Dentures, or false teeth, are used to replace missing teeth.

The idea of dentures may bring to mind removable sets of false teeth that your Grandmother had sitting in a glass of water next to her bed at night. This isn’t how dentures have to be made today. You can always visit our clinic anytime.

What is it?

Dentures are a great solution to replace missing teeth and are supported by gum tissue. Dentures can either be removable or secured into place using dental implants. There are different types of dentures so, your dentist will go through the options to find the best solution for you.

What’s included

With proper care, dentures can last for years. Take good care of your oral health by flossing daily, brushing twice daily and regularly visiting the dentist and hygienist.

Types of Dentures

Implant Supported Dentures

Modern and innovative techniques allow dentures to be secured in place with dental implants to provide better stability. These are called implant-supported dentures. Implant support dentures cover less tissue, giving you an overall better fit and function. New dentures are useful if you don’t like the way your smile looks or you’re struggling to chew food.

Benefits of Implant-supported dentures:

  • To get that great smile back
  • To give you confidence when you smile and talk
  • To allow you to enjoy and chew food as if they were your natural teeth
  • To help you retain the look of your natural teeth

Removeable Dentures

Removable dentures are the traditional type of dentures that are removed at night. This type of denture is what we most often refer to as “false teeth.” They are also called “complete dentures” and are used when all your natural teeth need to be removed or are missing. Complete dentures are removable as they are held in place by suction in our clinic. They can cause soreness at first and take some time to get used to.

Partial dentures

Partial dentures are a great way to help restore your smile when some of your natural teeth remain. They are used when one or more of your teeth remain in either the upper or lower jaw.
