Preventative Dentistry Near You

What is it?

At Inspire Dental Group, we believe that regular dental hygiene maintenance is a key factor in achieving long-lasting oral health. Often, people find themselves so busy with their work or their social lives that they forget to take care of their dental health. This can lead to many complications later in life, including bad breath, tooth decay, gum disease, root canals, and even oral cancer. Dentists recommend scheduling time for preventative dental care, such as routine teeth cleanings at least every 6 months.

Coming in for professional teeth cleanings and check-ups regularly will help maintain your oral health and detect any problems early on. Regular visits to your dentist can also help avoid cavities, gum disease, enamel wear, and more. Regular teeth maintenance can help boost your confidence and overall health and could save you some money in the long run!

What’s Included?

Our preventative dental maintenance program includes regular oral hygiene care and examinations, including:

Scaling and root planning

Removes plaque and tartar between the teeth and gums, down to the roots, which accumulates over time. This helps remove the bacteria that cause inflammation of the gums, which can lead to gum disease.

Polishing

Removes stains on the surface of the teeth to make your teeth shiny and smooth!

Fluoride

Fluoride treatments are a form of preventative care that fights tooth decay and protects against cavities by strengthening your enamel.

Professional examination

Regular dental check-ups are recommended every 6 months. They help with the early detection of oral problems and prevention.

Digital radiographs (x-rays)

Sometimes, an in-depth look at your teeth and gums is required to provide a better understanding of your oral health and to detect certain diseases or cavities that are not visible on the surface.
